The Boerne Concert Band is a volunteer organization - none of our members are paid for the hours of work they put into rehearsing or performing. They do it all for a love of music and our community.
That said, we are not without some expenses. These include many things including insurances, equipment, and even the sheet music we play. One piece alone can cost upwards of several hundred dollars - and most of our concerts include an average of 10 pieces. Each performance, if the music were purchased new every time, could cost over $1,000. This is where we need your help. We humbly implore you to consider donating to our group to help us continue providing quality entertainment and education opportunities to our beautiful community.
